ABOUT: Hollywood Fight Club was founded in January 2002 by David Danino. It is comprised of a Co-op Theater, a Theater Company and a Film Production Company. The theater itself is a 51-seat Black Box Theatre located in the heart of Hollywood. HFC are committed to providing an avenue for actors, writers & directors in our theater company or through the co-op environment to create to promote their talent and uniqueness.

David Danino, Founder: David founded the Hollywood Fight Club Theater in March 2002 with a mission to provide fellow actors, writers, directors and producers with a cooperative environment where they can develop their crafts, promote their individual talents and showcase distinctive work. A former Golden Gloves boxer, David has established the HFC as a diverse co-op theater, feature film, music video and commercial production company created and run by writers, directors, actors and producers that have gained a reputation for producing cutting-edge original works as well as contemporary classics that pack a powerful punch. In addition to leading the HFC, David has appeared in and directed multiple film, theater, television roles and commercials. Despite the body of work, David's passion directed him into a project that would possess and deliver the rawness of his personal story and quadruple threat talents of writing, producing, directing and acting. Enduring countless years of obstacles that fought against the production of the film, the struggle has not been in vain. His latest accomplishment is "THE SIT DOWN", a 30 minute short film which was shot to gain finance for the ultimate goal of a pre-written feature which is quickly gaining momentum. David is a Sephardic Jew, born in Morocco who is fluent in five languages.

Helene Marciano, Head of Casting: Helene was born and raised in Montreal, Quebec, Canada and had a love for the arts since the very young age of nine. Her love for the arts kept growing. Helene was accepted by several performing arts schools in Montreal and NY, which she put on hold. She was then recruited to Los Angeles by GUESS?, inc. where she spent seven years between NY & LA with no regrets. "It was the boom, where GUESS? expanded from wholesale to retail in all the major cities in the world." She was part of and responsible for the growth of GUESS? in the USA. It was a dream come true and a business experience that only benefitted her leap into the entertainment industry. The leap which led her to The Hollywood Fight Club Theater in 2002 and an introduction to David Danino, the founder and Artistic Director. "We had a lot in common; not only our background (North African and Western European) but we shared similar passion." Hollywood Fight Club is about creating opportunities, producing your work and developing your skills in all aspects of the business. Now, with the film end, Hollywood Fight Club Productions is on its way to being recognized which can only lead to more opportunities. Helene was invited to the Sundance Film Festival for three consecutive years in a row (2005, 2006 & 2007) which was another dream come true. Robert Redford and David Danino seem to share a similar foundation and philosophy. "It has been truthful to work with David Danino, a writer, actor, director and producer who sets goals and makes them happen. He steps away from each of his works and strives for knowledge and excellence. I'm fortunate to be part of something with such integrity." "Dayenou."
