Just a Song at Twilight

JUST A SONG AT TWILIGHT is an autobiographical play. The playwright's mother and her sister both became deaf in their early 20's, after having been hearing all their lives. The impact on the family had both serious and humorous moments with eventual positive results.

Write Act Repertory and Producing and Artistic Directors, John W. Lant III and Ken Cosby, proudly announce the World Premiere of JUST A SONG AT TWILIGHT by Willard Manus.  This heartwarming drama about the laughter, tears, struggles and blessings of growing up in a hearing-impaired family will have its debut at the Write Act Repertory Theatre in Hollywood.

Starring in JUST A SONG AT TWILIGHT is the former Miss Norway, Lene Pedersen, whose performance in the play Winter made the Los Angeles Times' 2008 "Ten Best" list.

The Cast includes Sam Aaron, Charles Anteby*, Julie Bersani, Darin Dahms*, Michael Hampton, Jerry Katell, Janne Halleskov Kindberg, Bryan Kimmel, and Ilia Volok. (*appears courtesy of Actors Equity Association)

Directing is John DiFusco, who has been active in LA theatre for more than thirty years; he co-created the famous Vietnam-era drama Tracers.
