Ruskin Group Theatre proudly presents the 3rd production of their 2008 season. This production of FAITHFUL by Chazz Palminteri, "A Bronx Tale", follows the recently successful run UNBEATABLE HAROLD which received rave reviews. A world premiere of the John Powers play @HEART , recommended by five local critics (including the Los Angeles Times critic), was the season opener for this company and ran through February with sold out performances. The suspense of an unabashed assault takes an astonishing turn somewhere between comedy and drama. A rejected wife and a hit man, hired by her husband, expose their quirky bonding on the darker side of love. This strange and spirited, yet oddly familiar, exchange between the characters reveals a compelling tale of attraction, infidelity, betrayal, and deceit that might just have a chance for redemption...during an unexpected stirring of conscience. |
