Dallas Black Dance Theatre presents Pure Energy at the Majestic Theatre as part of their Cultural Awareness Series. A DRIVING BEAT, the thrust of Ray Mercer's Pulse, and the dancers' relentless energy in Hope Boykin's in-ter-pret consume the Majestic Stage in this series featuring new contemporary works and repertory classics.

Dallas Black Dance Theatre celebrates 32 years as the oldest, continuously operating professional dance company in Dallas. The ensemble, a contemporary modern dance company, consists of 13 professional, full-time dancers performing a mixed repertory of modern, jazz, ethnic and spiritual works by nationally and internationally known choreographers.
