Shane Arts Theatrical Ensemble Rep (SATER) presents the Regional Premiere of Coronado, a new play by Dennis Lehane. Author of Academy Award Winner MYSTIC RIVER, the critically acclaimed GONE BABY GONE and the soon to be released SHUTTER ISLAND directed by Martin Scorsese.
In a nameless bar somewhere in rural America, a young couple falls hopelessly in love, a psychiatric patient confronts her demons, and a father-and-son search for a missing woman -- and a stolen diamond. A searing depiction of the crimes we commit in the name of love. A story at turns suspenseful, surreal, romantic, and tragically comic about what we're willing to do for love - sacrifice, murder, and, finally, redemption.
