The women of Texas Ballet Theater perform the world premiere of Stormy Weather; set to 8 different pieces of music by the legendary Judy Garland. After the intermission, the men of Texas Ballet Theater (TBT) are staging one of the most emotionally-charged works ever created by Artistic Director Ben Stevenson; Mozart's Requiem, a mixed-repertoire production that presents choreography portraying the struggle of U.S. soldiers in Iraq.
Mozart's Requiem will be performed together with the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra and Schola Cantorum. It features costumes by Tony Award winning designer Desmond Heeley.
Texas Ballet Theater brings unprecedented talent, beauty and artistic expression, as well as the highest levels of dance education, training, and appreciation to North Texas and surrounding areas.
